Georginio Wijnaldum is not phased by the upcoming game against Everton and doesn't view the the 'Toffees' as competition. The Dutchman has said that Saturday's clash between Liverpool and Manchester United is instead the most significant rivalry at the moment.
The 27-year-old believes that Everton are not competition for Liverpool as they don't compete for the same titles, with the 'Reds' and United both currently aiming to gain second place behind Manchester City in the Premier League.
Everton are perfoming on a slightly different scale, sitting just seven points clear of the relegation zone and in eleventh in the table. Sam Allardyce's team are also yet to win a match against Liverpool since 2010.
Wijnaldum said: ''The game against Everton is a big one, I think bigger for them because they look up to us and we are looking more to Manchester United because we are playing for the titles".
The midfielder is set to rejoin the Liverpool squad this weekend after an illness ruled him out of play midweek.
