An emergency evalution meeting has been called including West Ham and London Stadium stakeholders. The summit is being held to find a way to progress, so that there are no future repeats of the Burnley match security failings.
Vice chairman Baronness Brady will meet with members of the board and security operators. LS185, the stadium operators will also be in attendance alongside the London Legacy Development Company and E20. The latter being a body to establish the transformation and management of the stadium.
According to 'SkySports News', all the mandatory safety, security and stewarding requirements were met for the Category A match that saw pitch invaders and fan demonstrations. Even players, including West Ham captain Mark Noble were involved in the unpleasant displays on Satruday.
A spokesperson for the Mayor of London said that Sadiq Khan wants the club to take action against disruptive fans who interfered with the game. The Mayor released a statement saying that ''the disturbances at the London Stadium were disgraceful and it's clear that there cannot be a repeat of the ugly scenes witnessed on Saturday. It is up to West Ham to carry out a thorough investigation, together with stakeholders, and take proper action against those supporters who misbehaved.''
