Real Madrid:
Defender Jesus Vallejo was limited to gym work all week, whilst midfielder Luka Modric and forward Gareth Bale trained on their own, but all three players returned to training on Saturday and are expected to be available for the visit of Pablo Machín's men. Other than that there are no injury concerns for Zinedine Zidane, who will have all of his heavy artillery available for this one, with one notable exception after club captain Sergio Ramos was left out of the squad for the clash.
Girona:
Defenders Jose Suarez and Carles Planas both look likely to miss out through injury, but other than that the hosts will bring their strongest side to the capital.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane:
"All of the players enjoy playing games, but when you look at the league standings it's tough for us to challenge for the LaLiga title.
"We have to see all of the games as being important in terms of our preparation. We're sitting in third at the moment and we've got to reclaim second spot, it's a significant target. Tomorrow we've got another chance to put in a great performance".
