The Qatari-owned club dismissed claims published in 'The Times' that the forward demanded an increase in salary from just over €40 million to €54 million a year.
The newspaper alleged that the Brazilian put forward a list of conditions to remain at PSG, following reports that he had received offers from teams such as Real Madrid. There is speculation that Florentino also met with Neymar's father, who acts as his agent.
PSG President, Nasser al-Khelaifi visited Neymar's native Brazil this week where the player is recovering from surgery on his foot. 'The Times' reports that the PSG star and his father laid out their demands for Neymar to stay with the club, during al-Khelaifi's visit.
'L'Equipe', on the other hand, reports that the club denies the reports. According to the French publication, Neymar, who signed for PSG for €222million on a contract until 2022, earns just over three million euros per month already.
