Alan Pardew's job got that little bit less secure on Saturday after his West Brom side lost again, this time to Watford. The 'Hornets' by contrast have seen a huge turnaround under Javi Gracia, winning three games since he took charge out of five and only losing once.
The goal came after West Brom lost the ball in midfield and Will Hughes played in Troy Deeney who clipped the ball over Ben Foster in goal. It came on Deeney's 300th appearance for Watford - he also scored on his 50th, 100th, 150th, 200th, and 250th appearances for the club.
West Brom run the risk of being cut adrift at the bottom, they were already seven points from safety before this round of games got underway and things don't look like improving. Reports of a dressing room bust up midweek have followed on from an incident involving four senior players. Some were seemingly calling Pardew's tactics into question and he faces no mean task to quell the disquiet.
