On Tuesday, West Brom chief executive Mark Jenkins is flying to China to meet the club's owners. It will be the first time both parties have met since Jenkins' appointment in February this year, who was drafted in to replace Mark Goodman last month.
He is expected to present at the Palm AGM, the Chinese firm that are the primary sponsors for West Brom. Palm are also closely linked to Guochuan Lai, the controlling shareholder of the club.
It is likely that the main focus of the agenda will be the future of Alan Pardew as manager, although it is expected that he will retain his position for the Leicester game on Saturday.
''The Baggies'' are at the bottom of the Premier League and eight points away from safety, with many looking to blame management. Jenkins will therefore meet to discuss a plan of action for next season.
Reportedly the Chinese sponsors are particularly worried about the clubs' plans if they are relegated and whether Pardew would be the right man to manage should this be the case, although no potential replacements have been evaluated yet.
