He caused an uproar when a video of him spitting at a 14-year-old girl surfaced on social media, leading to the television company to suspend the former Liverpool defender until further notice.
However, since then, Sky have decided to put a timescale on the absence, stating that Carragher will not work for them at least until the end of the Premier League season on May 13 and will not be paid during the meantime.
Although it seems like bad news for the 40-year-old, the suspension isn't indefinite and he could return to the set-up for next year, something that his co-worker Gary Neville would fully support.

With regards to the decision, a 'Sky Sports' spokesman said: "Following an internal review, Sky has suspended Jamie Carragher for the remainder of the football season.
"Jamie has taken full responsibility for what has happened and we will ensure he gets the help he needs to guarantee something like this never happens again.
"Before the start of the next season we will sit down with Jamie to discuss whether he is ready to return to his role."
