The 40-year-old has been rewarded for the 'Cherries' impressive form in the New Year, in which they defeated top sides Arsenal and Chelsea to take eight points from a possible 12, ending Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola's dominance of the award from September to December.
Their victory over the Premier League champions was particularly sensational, beating Antonio Conte's side 3-0 in what Howe believes was Bournemouth's best performance since getting promoted to the English top division in 2015.

Speaking after he had been handed the award, the head coach told the club's official website: "It's been a good month and I'd like to dedicate the award to everyone associated with the football club."
"The highlight was without doubt the Chelsea game but I don't think we should forget about the result against Arsenal. It's not just about the results, but the performances and the manner in which we played. We knew January would be a big month for us after the Christmas period. There are always a lot of games at this time of year but we came through the month well."
Howe will be hoping his team can continue their fine form when they host Newcastle United on 24th March, although they did suffer a 4-1 blip to Huddersfield Town last weekend.
