Oblak wins his third consecutive 'Zamora'

The 'Zamora' award, which is the Spanish equivalent of the Golden Glove award, is awarded to the goalkeeper who has the lowest "goals-to-games" ratio in the Spanish league.

Oblak won the prize for the third time in a row on Sunday, despite condeding twice in Fernando Torres' farewell game, a 2-2 draw against Eibar. The Atleti keeper has conceded just 22 times in 37 league games this season. 

Barcelona's shotstopper, Ter Stegen, did all he could to keep up with Oblak, but he was miles off in the end, conceding 28 goals before the final game against Real Sociedad even began.

This third consecutive award puts Oblak on par with Victor Valdes, who acheived the same feat between 2007 and 2012. He is now two seasons away from equalling greats like Ramallets and Valdes, who racked up five 'Zamoras' apiece.
