The chance was created by James Milner, who made a great run into the Watford before squaring to Salah. The Egyptian passed it to Ings first time, and the striker came close to scoring. Salah was there to mop up, making it 5 for Liverpool.

    GOAL! SALAH GETS HIS HATTRICK! He just can't be stopped! Salah grabs his third of the game after some wonderful dribbling in the box. The goal is set up by Mane, who made a great run down the right. Salah picks the ball up in the box, and manages to hold onto it despite being surrounded by Watford players. He twists and turns, and then somehow gets a foot to the ball to put it past Karnezis. Game over.

He waits a moment before picking out Firmino with a low cross. The Brazilian, who is facing Salah, flicks the ball off the inside of his thigh and it beats Karnezis.

Salah is too quick at the back post, and has an easy tap in past Karnezis. 34 goals in all competitions for Liverpool this season for the Egyptian, that's the best tally ever for a Liverpool player in their debut season.
