Klopp's side travel to Vicarage Road on Saturday as they kick off the new campaign and Klopp says he is 'excited' to get going.
'I'm excited. I've been looking forward to the first game since we started pre-season,' said the former Borussia Dortmund boss.
'I'm not the best in pre-season – I'm not very patient. I'm happy that we can start.'
The German insisted that his team will be well prepared ahead of the Watford game.
'We'll have an exact look at what Watford will ask of us system-wise and things like this; preparation and preparation,' he explained.
Watford lost just seven games at Vicarage Road last season and will be out to impress new boss Marco Silva this weekend. Will Liverpool come away with a win?
