"I'm passionate about what I do and, at each club, I try to give it my all. This is a strong point, because when you have passion for what you do, anything is possible," explained James Rodriguez to UEFA's website.
The ex-Real Madrid star feels that, because he hasn't lost his hunger to win, he is having a lot of success at big European clubs: "I'm a very hungry player and I always want more. I always want to win and this is a great asset."
Talking about his successful boss, Jupp Heynckes, James said: "He's a manager with a lot of experience in the world of football. He played football so he knows how we think, this is a big plus."
The colombian explained that he's always been more motivated by assisting his teammates than scoring himself and he puts no limits on the development of his talent. "Passing to my teammate to score is hugely satisfying and that's what makes me happy," he addded.
James also described having played for Madrid as a dream come true. "As a kid you see these great teams and you hope to one day play for them. The dream seems to be far away, but when you progress over the years it gets much more achievable. It was a dream come true, it's a memory that I'll always cherish."
