The Spaniard said that despite Liverpool's underdog status, they merit a place in the final of the CL. "Liverpool are a team that clearly weren't among the favourites," he said. "But they have demonstrated with their good football that they deserve to be in the final."
"They have good players, a magnificent manager, and attackers who can make the difference. It will be difficult to stop them."
However, Isco pointed to the fact that Real have won the previous two iterations of the tournament, saying they are desperate to make it three in a row.
"We have reached three finals in a row, and nobody else has done this," he stated. "It will be a really beautiful final, a fiercely fought final, although the only thing that matters is making our fans and our families happy."
Moving on, the midfielder says his sole focus is on progressing with Madrid, dispelling any transfer rumours.
"My objective is to carry on growing, carry on at Madrid, and carry on winning trophies," he explained. "I'm never satisfied, I want to continue to aspire to the best and I am in the right place to do so."
He finished by discussing Spain's World Cup hopes. "There is a lot of excitement," he said. "We are a young group, who are really keen on getting it right. We have a new coach and we haven't lost in a year. "
However, it's not going to be easy. "In short competitions it's really difficult, and in the end it's the small details that will make the difference," he said. "I hope we can have a great World Cup and give Spain a summer gift."
