The Swede's team-mate Eric Bailly posted a photo on Twitter on Tuesday of the duo, alongside David de Gea posing following a training session at United's AON Training Complex.
Ibrahimovic suffered a serious knee ligament injjury in April but is closing in on a rapid return to action, especially considering the original prognosis was that he may be out for a full year.
Renowned surgeon Freddie Fu, who performed Ibrahimovic's surgery was impressed by the United's man's health, telling the 'China Morning Post': 'He's so healthy, so strong. Biologically, bone morphology, everything, is absolutely very healthy.'
United boss Jose Mourinho last week added fuel to the rumours that the 35-year-old would be back fit sooner rather than later, saying: 'Zlatan is here, under our control, working as I would expect, so, so hard, but he's not back in a week or a couple of weeks.'
'Let's let him take his time and be back in the right moment. Do I think he will be back in 2017? Yes I do, but it's just a feeling.'
Could United be set for a surprise boost?
