Friday night's FA Cup game against Hull could scarcely have gone better for Chelsea as they brushed their opponents aside. Among the goalscorers was Olivier Giroud, who found the net for the first time since his January move from Arsenal.

With Chelsea already holding a 3-0 lead and half-time approaching the 'Blues' proceeded to rub salt into the wound.

Emerson Palmieri - making his Chelsea debut - got to the byline down the left and crossed for Giroud, who turned the ball home from six yards for his first goal for the club.

The France international will be delighted to be off the mark and will be hoping it is the first of many.
