The Spanish newspaper is reporting that the Barca captain has received an astronomical offer from the Chinese side. According to them, he would earn €81million over the space of three seasons.
To this sum would be added €36m that the side would invest in Iniesta's wine business (six million bottles, at €6 per bottle), as well as 50% of his image rights.
Despite this more-than-tempting offer tabled by Jiang Lizhang, the owner of Chongqing and of other clubs such as Granada and Parma (60% owner), 'El Mundo' reports that Iniesta is still unsure on whether he will say yes to the contract.
It is worth noting that, according to 'AS', the owner of the Chinese side is the head of Desports, an investment fund assosciated with Gerard Pique. Desports is also linked with Wehan Dangdai, a business that has a part share in the agency that manages Mediapro and super-agent Pere Guardiola (brother of Pep).
Iniesta, who recently announced that he would leave Barca in an emotional press-conference, will decide in the next few days which club he will choose as the next step in his illustrious career.
