A ball boy's principal function involves two things: 1. Getting the ball, and 2. Handing it back to the players. At Bournemouth, however, they go above and beyond the call of duty.
After Junior Stanislas put his side a goal to the good, the Vitality Stadium was bouncing.
In what should've been a simple hand-over to Jan Vertonghen, the Bournemouth ball boy chose to 'clumsily' toss the ball at the Belgian's knees, forcing the Spurs man to bend down and retrieve it from the floor.
Nevertheless, the few seconds he wasted weren't enough to secure a Cherries win. He sat glumly on his stool and watched on as Bournemouth got trounced 4-1 by a Heung-Min Son masterclass.
