Richarlison joined Watford from Fluminense in a deal worth £11.5m in July, and he has enjoyed a very successful start to his life in the Premier League. The Brazilian forward has five goals and three assists in his first 14 appearances for the Hornets.
This impressive start has meant the 20-year-old is already attracting interest from other clubs, with Chelsea and Tottenham both reportedly eyeing a future move for Watford's star man.
However, Duxbury insisted that Richarlison would not be leaving Vicarage Road anytime soon as he told the 'Evening Standard': "We want Richarlison to be here for many more seasons.
"We are building a very competitive squad, we have no need to sell.
“We believe in the season being a race and that’s why we will never sell a player in January who we believe will help us.
"Nobody will be sold that we don’t want to. None of the players making an impact now will go.”
