UEFA decided to go ahead with the Europa League final despite the terrorist attack at a pop concert on Monday night, and a strong police presence in the surroundings of the stadium has been met with the high spirits of the English fans.
A minute's silence will be held by Ajax and United before the fixture which, if comparable to the fantastic atmosphere leading up to the game, should be a joy to watch.
