Tottenham are closing in on a deal to bring Southampton's Victor Wanyama to White Hart Lane, according to Sky Sports.
The Saint's are looking to receive close enough to the £12m they paid Celtic for the defensive midfielder in 2013, and it is believed Tottenham have offered an acceptable offer.
Spurs tried to go after the 24-year-old last summer after Wanyama told Ronald Koeman he wished to leave and re-join Pochettino, the coach who brought him to the Premier League.
The Kenya international only has one year remaining on his contract, so Southampton are likely to accept an offer for the player in order to avoid the possibility of letting him leave on a free next year.
