According to 'L'Equipe', the French club have identified Philippe Coutinho as their back-up plan if they fail to land Kylian Mbappe, the coveted youngster who has been linked with the biggest clubs in Europe.
PSG have not prepared a bid for the Liverpool man, and will only consider doing so once all their options regarding Mbappe are exhausted, as the Monaco starlet is their main objective.
However, an offer for Coutinho is very likely to happen this summer. Monaco are not willing to sell their star striker and, if anything, Real Madrid have taken the lead in negotiations.
Liverpool could be willing to sell, for the right price. The Reds will not accept anything under £80 million for the Brazilian. If so, they could accept a bid, as long as they have time to bring in a replacement.
