Ronaldo's message to 'Los Blancos' fans is very clear: "Things are going to change."
The Portuguese superstar has only scored one La Liga goal so far this season and has often cut a frustrated figure on the pitch for Real, but believes both his team’s and personal luck will quickly turn around.
"I'm not worried, people are much more worried than me. I remain calm, in airplane mode," he said.
"The same thing happened last year, the ball doesn't want to go in the goal. People do not realise the difference between playing well and scoring goals.
"I'm a goal-scoring machine, they see me like that, like the guy who should always score."
As much as he tried to cover up the recent lack of goals, Ronaldo wasn't afraid to admit this season has been "quite good, but not perfect", and pointed out that remaining “calm” is the best way to recover "points we lost in the league."
The 32-year-old has also revealed that he wants “seven children and as many Ballon d'Or trophies”.
Real travel across town to local rivals Atletico on Saturday in what is sure to be a feisty encounter at the Wanda Metropolitano. Ronaldo will be hoping to silence critics and get on the scoresheet to help Zinedine Zidane’s side to a much-needed three points.
