Since his arrival at Anfield from Southampton before the beginning of last season, Sadio Mane has been a key part of anything positive at Liverpool.
The Senegalese international has hit the ground running at Anfield and provides Jurgen Klopp's side with pace, creativity and direction in a lethal three-pronged attack.
However the 25-year-old will be absent from Liverpool's next three games after the three game ban he received for his contentious sending off against Manchester City last weekend was upheld after a Liverpool appeal was rejected.
Mane is in a rich vein of form, finding the back of the net three times in five outings so far this season, which takes his tally up to an impressive 16 goals in 34 games for the club.
His impact can be felt throughout the team as well, with Liverpool scoring 2.3 goals on average when Mane starts compared to just 1.5 without him.
His effect can also be seen by noting how often he is on the winning side. Klopp's side win 63.3% of games when the Senegalese international is in the starting eleven, but this drops to 41.7% in his absence.
Since Mane's arrival on Merseyside, Liverpool have averaged 2.1 points-per-game in the league with him in the side, but just 1.6 when he is missing.
So how will Klopp line his side up against Burnley to minimise the effects felt by the absence of Mane? Philippe Coutinho's mid-week return against Sevilla on Wednesday will certainly give the manager a huge boost and he is likely to come straight in as a replacement for the suspended forward.
The Brazilian will feel like a new signing after the Reds managed to fend off strong advances from Barcelona during the summer and with him back to full fitness it will soften the blow of losing Mane hugely.
