Lewandowski's Real Madrid dream continues

At the age of 29, the experienced centre-forward would be a quality recruit for Real Madrid, who are currently struggling to find the back of the net and are being held back by Gareth Bale's constant injury woes.

Robert Lewandowski himself has admitted on several occasions that he longs to play at the Santiago Bernabeu, which coul make his arrival in the Spanish capital a lot easier for the club's directors.

According the the source mentioned, the Polish striker is once again being considered by the reigning La Liga champions, who are planning their transfer activity for January and next summer.

Madrid's hopes hinge on the fact that Lewandowski himself offered his services to the Bernabeu outfit some time ago, but his contract in Munich stood in the way of a switch.

Despite his deal at the Allianz Arena tying him to the Bavarian club until 2021, Lewandowski is willing to break the link if it means joining Real Madrid. Florentino Perez would be delighted to have his man but, of course, Bayern have the final say.
