Sean Dyche has rejected suggestions that his Burnley side face Liverpool at an opportune time following recent results for the 'Reds'.
Liverpool were routed 5-0 away to Manchester City as they saw frontman Sadio Mane sent off for a clash with Ederson, and dropped Champions League points at home to Sevilla.
Dyche, nevertheless, remains wary of the threat of the Anfield outfit, and was eager to stress their qualities.
"They obviously had a tough result last weekend. It was a different kind of result [against Sevilla]," said Dyche.
"I was there [at Anfield], and there were a lot of good things about their performance. They are a good side, without a shadow of a doubt, and they have a lot of strength in depth.
"Our players are aware these are tough places to go to but we have enjoyed the challenge so far this season.
"A lot was made when the fixtures came out - Chelsea away, Tottenham away and now away to Liverpool.
"We have delivered decent performances away from home and we are looking to do that again."
