His headed goal against Southampton in September put Crouch's name in the Guinness Book of records, and he's back at it again, becoming the Premier League player with the most substitute appearances on Monday evening.
The 6ft 7in striker's 73rd minute introduction against Brighton was his 143rd Premier League appearance from the bench and it took him past former Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi's tally of 142, which he set between 2000 and 2015.
However, the England international didn't seem to pleased with the milestone after Stoke's 2-2 draw with the Seagulls, and he took to Twitter to question whether or not he should be proud of his achievement.
Crouch is yet to start a league game for Stoke this season, and has developed a reputation of being somewhat of a super-sub for the Potters, scoring the winner against Southampton and grabbing a equalisers against West Brom and Leicester, all after coming off the bench.
Nearly a third (32.6%) of the 36-year-old's Premier League appearances have come as a substitute.
Behind the Stoke striker on the list of players with the most Premier League substitute appearances are Jermain Defoe (136), Carlton Cole (129) and Joe Cole (123).
