The Czech Republic international has now failed to save any of the 12 penalties he has faced as an Arsenal player since joining the club from Chelsea back in 2015.
The 35-year-old went down in history at Stamford Bridge after a mesmerising performance in the 2011/12 Champions League final which saw him deny Arjen Robben from 12 yards in extra time, before keeping out two more spot kicks in the ensuing shootout.
However, that form has clearly deserted him of late, with 12 penalties having found their way past the imposing stopper in a little over a year.

Cech is not alone, half of the 20 first-choice goalkeepers at Premier League clubs are yet to save a penalty for their sides, though few have faced as many as Cech.
Perhaps the more alarming factor for Arsene Wenger's side is that they are conceding so many spot-kicks in the first place. Hector Bellerin's ill-timed barge on Richarlison on Saturday was the 11th penalty that the 'Gunners' have conceded in the Premier League in just over 14 months, four more than any other side.
11 - Arsenal have conceded 11 goals from the penalty spot since the start of last season; four more than any other current PL side. Costly.
