The Italian believes that with just three more additions to his squad, his side can make a good fist of defending their Premier League title and the club's owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly ready to grant his wishes.
The first name on Conte's wishlist is Southampton defender Virgil Van Dijk. The Dutchman's name has been mentioned on plenty of occasions this summer, most notably amid rumours of a move to Liverpool. That switch fell by the wayside somewhat amid claims of an 'illegal appraoch' for the player. The 'Saints' were originally keen to keep their star man but with the player having been banished from first team training and having now formally requested a transfer it looks like he will be on the move this summer.
The second target for the 'Blues' is Leicester's Danny Drinkwater. The midifelder is seen as the ideal man to reinforce Chelsea's midfield following the sale of Nemanja Matic to Manchester United. However, at this moment in time Leicester are not looking to sell the player and Chelsea may find it difficult to convince them to do so.
Finally, the Chelsea boss intends to raid London rivals Arsenal for winger/ utility man Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The 24-year-old has just 11 months left on his contract with the 'Gunners' and he is believed to be open to a move away form the Emirates as he looks to force his way into England's World Cup squad.
Would those three be enough to propel Chelsea to another league title? And moreover, will Chelsea succeed in signing them all?
